JUST has outlined its Aims & Objectives as follows: • To work strategically with individuals and organisations that reflect all areas and sections of society in West Yorkshire in order to promote Racial Justice and achieve greater race equality.

• To promote a strategic approach to Racial Justice work in West Yorkshire, ensuring that Racial Justice recognition is embedded into policies and practices across the region.

• To play a positive role in addressing Racial Justice issues to achieve outcomes and long-term impact. 

JUST’s Objectives are to Work in partnership with individuals, communities and organisations.

• Raise the profile of Racial Justice and increasing awareness of issues related to racism.

• Promote the ethics of Racial Justice as an ethos that challenges racism.

• Encourage and enable a commitment to change amongst individuals and organisations.

• Provide expert knowledge, information, advice and guidance to increase understanding on Racial Justice issues. • Empower and enable community action to address racism through capacity building and information, advice and guidance.

• Promote the work of JUSTand develop it to work competently and effectively Promote best practice in Racial Justice work.

• Develop JUST’s board/management group in order to strengthen its competence and capability, and ensure it is inclusive and representative of the various communities in West Yorkshire.
